Registration Process
Registration Process:
1- Create an Account: To register, you must have a Cambridge Center @ IMAS account. If you don't have one, click on New Registration in the Examination Portal below to create it.
2- Submit Documents: Upload the required documents, including:
Passport / ID / MyKid
A recent photo (passport size, white background, school uniform)
3- Verification: The exam officer will review, verify, and approve your details.
4- Exam Registeration: Choose the checkpoint option from the Exam Registration tab.
5- Pay the Fee: Click on the payment tab and complete the payment before the deadline provided.
6- Payment Approval: Wait for your payment to be verified and approved to finalize your registration.
Exam Schedule
Cambridge primary checkpoint exams are conducted annually in April (7–25 April 2025).
Specific dates will be announced in early March.
How to Prepare
Your Statement of Entry will be mailed out to you one month before the examination session begins.
Your Statement of Entry will tell you exactly when your exams are being held so you can make appropriate travel arrangements. You must remember to bring your Statement of Entry with you on exam day.
Aim to arrive one hour before the start of the exam so that you can relax before it begins.
Allow plenty of time for traffic or travel disruption and always have an alternative travel plan in mind.
Check the seating plan so you know where to go when you enter the exam room.
20-30 minutes before the exam start time you will be called to the venue.
Listen carefully to instructions.
Statement of Entry
In a clear plastic bag:
Blue pens x 2, HB/2B pencils x 2, eraser, ruler, pair of compasses, sharpener, protractor, calculator (no memory or stored formulae).
A small clear plastic bottle containing water is allowed. Containers that are not clear plastic or contain drinks other than water will be removed.
You may bring a basic scientific calculator to all exams UNLESS the exam paper states “No Calculator”.
Wallet/purse/keys/bags/books.
Mobile phone, laptop, electronic items with data storage or access to external communication.
Correcting fluid/tape.
Highlighter pens / red or green ink.
Calculator cover.
Notes, pieces of paper, tracing paper.
Packs of tissues (tissues are provided by the school).
Food (including chewing gum), drinks other than water, bottles that are not clear plastic.
All Cambridge Checkpoint reports, at Primary will report a score out of 50. Scores on the new Checkpoint scale are from 0 (the lowest level of ability) to 50 (the highest level of ability).
Cambridge Primary Checkpoint results for the May 2025 series will be available on 19 June 2025.
